We are very proud to put on our Northwest Startup DEMO twice a year (once in the fall, and another in the spring). One of the drawbacks of our schedule, though, is that there are more innovative companies than spaces to present.

You have a great idea that you can't stop thinking about.  You've probably set up a website and mocked up a prototype.   Now, you've even started talking about it to friends, family, fools, whoever.  You are an entrepreneur, boldly stepping forward to make the world a better place.

Every time we put on DEMO we always hear the same complaint from the entrepreneurs - why can't I use PowerPoint?  I guess this is understandable given that entrepreneurs spend many hours cultivating their pitch decks for investors and want to reuse materials as much as possible.  Some entrepreneurs have even gone so far as to create a full presentation in Keynote  or even PDF and say "see, we aren't using powerpoint!"  They are obviously missing
