Bob Hunsberger - President & CEO - NetMotion Wireless

Bob Hunsberger joined NetMotion Wireless after more than 20 years of executive leadership in the wireless industry. Most recently, Bob was President and CEO of Widcomm, a leading provider of Bluetooth wireless connectivity software that was acquired by Broadcom in 2004. Prior to that, Bob served as Chairman and CEO of Metawave Communications, the first company to establish smart antenna technology as an important tool for the wireless industry. Bob served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Siemens Wireless Terminals and spent 14 years in various executive positions at Nortel, holding increasing levels of responsibility throughout his tenure. When Bob left Nortel to join Siemens, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing, having played a key role in establishing Nortel as a major force in the wireless industry. Bob holds a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

 

Phil Herres - Principal - Herres Consulting

Phil Herres is a management consultant with over 25 years of high-technology management experience. Prior positions include Chief Operating Officer for Aldus Corporation prior to its acquisition by Adobe, and he held various executive positions at Nortel where he was responsible for several divisions.  His initial years at Nortel were spent helping to create the first US-based Bell-Northern Research lab in Palo Alto at Stanford Park. His management background encompasses general management and international operations, with a management career focused on moving R&D to commercial realization.  He has indepth knowledge of the internet, software and telecommunications industries, along with extensive experience in manufacturing and manufacturing processes.  In his consulting roles, largely with emerging companies, he has led technology companies to profitability and sale, and executed mergers and acquisitions. Herres holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Gonzaga University and an MBA from the University of Oregon with post-graduate work in Organization Design at UCLA.  He also holds a Professional Engineering license from the State of California.
