With more than 25 years of software industry experience, Ann Winblad is a renowned entrepreneur and venture capitalist. Attendees will learn from her discussion with Technology Review editor-in-chief Jason Pontin about:

   * The factors that determine whether technology startups succeed or fail

   * The philosophy of funding a tech company
   * What makes a great entrepreneur

In addition, September's Global Broadcast will spotlight the next wave of great entrepreneurs with a focus on members of the TR35, the top innovators under the age of 35 who are changing the world today.

Our featured national event will be a viewing of a discussion held in Cambridge between Ann Winblad, co-founding partner of Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Jason Pontin, editor in chief and publisher of Technology Review magazine. This national panel presentation will be followed by a Seattle panel discussion. The panel will then participate in a Q&A session with the audience.
